Gajah Mada elaborated on six key element as follows :
- Abikamika : a good leader should always be concerned of his subordinates and people , thinking always of the bigger good rather than private personal or group gain
- Prajna : a good leader should always be wise and prudent and should command technological and religious knowledge so as to become a good role model for society
- Usaha : a good leader should be proactive, demonstrate initiative, creativity and innovations without being arrogant to ensure prosperity for his people
- Atma Sampad : a Good leader should posses a personality, be of high integrity, moral, objective as well as a long-term perspective of situations to promote national wellbeing
- Sakya Samanta : a good leader should undertake the control function effectively, efficiently and economically while acting against wrong-doers fairly without prejudice
- Aksudra Pari Sakta : A good leader should be accommodating, being able to reach consensus among diverging perspectives, be diplomatic while promoting the aspiration of the people
For military commander, Gajah Mada has four key principles that should be the guide, these include :
- Jana Wisesa Suda : A good military commander should acquire all kinds of knowledge, including those relating to technology, military and religion be it from the perspective of theory or praxis
- Kaprahitaning : a good military commander should empathise with his sub ordinates and endeavour to improve their working and living conditions
- Kawiryan : a good military commander should not fear doing the right knowing that he is undertaking is right, fair and just, and should fear doing any kind of wrongs;
- Kawibawan : a military commander should acquire power and authority towards his subordinates and charge so that all the orders and instructions will be implemented for the general good
